I like your pass! One of my teachers in my last high school did it. Except he picked his up from a dumpter and made it look dirty on purpose. He said he soaked it in bleah for a week before he even touched it Cheesy

I had this one teacher in junior high and high school that would make you take something like a cart full of dictionaries, a pull-down wall map, or an enormous globe for a pass.  I would just take his stapler or something and run off.

This is a guy who taught social studies but once accepted a science paper.  The kid got an A.

Thanks for the comments y'all - there was so much more I was going to do to it - like glue rhinestones and glitter all over it but I figured they'd just be picked off. And I was going to paint it more decoratively but I didn't have time. Now I'm glad I didn't because it's been dropped down the stairs a few times (they swear on accident) and wouldn't want the paint to get all chipped. I think I'll retire this one this year and let everyone sign it so I can make a new one next year. Maybe I'll hang this one up in my classroom next year and start a display.

I had a teacher once who got one of those plastic cauldrons from halloween and wrote "PASS TO TH' POT"  And before he got the pot, he had one of those stadium seat cushions and wrote a long and winded explanation that the student had to go to the bathroom and had to take this pass, the one pass, the ultimate pass to get to the restroom.

And I like that one!  you should attach toilet paper streamers, maybe.  To make it look slightly icky. Wink

The next time a student puts it around their neck, you should say..

"You know, I unscrew that from the toilet in the teachers lounge every morning..."

They didn't agree on much. In fact they rarely agreed on anything. They fought all the time and they challenged each other everyday. But in spite of their differences they had one important thing in common. They were crazy about each other.

I love this idea! It's got me brainstorming for other pass ideas...

...like a decorated plunger?  Now that's embarassing!

What about a box of Fiber One Cereal?  Or a huge stuffed bran muffin?

Or a big stuffed skunk?

That is hilarious - gotta forward that to my teacher friends! Before you know it there will be thousands of potty passes throughout the world (yup, world, most of the teachers I know are in private schools abroad!)

Your kids must be really lucky to have a teacher with such a sense of humor Cool
