ohh... now see, i'd join y'all if ya did a pants sew along... i don't wear dresses very much, so it'd be neat to tackle pants!

hey redhead, i'd be up for doing a pants sewalong too. actually, i have a few patterns that i tried when i first started sewing which i'd like to try again (now that i have more experience and have accepted the fact that my butt is, in fact, that large. hehe) would you rather try drawstring, side zipper, or fly front? i have patterns for all 3 that i could suggest.

p.s. i dont wear dresses often either, but i thought it would be a fun project to try. plus, the dress is so cute that i might want to wear it all the time.

where are we going, and why am i in this handbasket?

actually, what i had in mind, was this pattern:

i know that halfelvenwriter expressed interest too.

Damn, I broke my sewing machine and have to get it serviced.  Puts sewalong project away for another day.  Sorry folks.  I even bought this cute bug fabric.  Oh well.

And halfelvenwriter is expressing interest.  I really love this pattern, redhead.  It would be fun to try a pair of pants.
