Am I the only one really inspired by this? So many possibilities!

I like this idea very much - of taking the basic and adapting it to personal ideas/tastes/concepts.  It would be neat if this thread just kept on going, and going, as people kept making their own versions and posting photos.  Smiley

I had a few ideas as well, so hopefully my photos will be up here someday.

I am thinking about it, does that count?
Actually, I'm waiting around until we get a printer.

Ive certainly got a printer- but i didnt really wanna use it for printing off this whole patter... and if i printed it in colour it would have been a nightmare. Instead- i took the file on a disk to my copy shop and had it printed on a lazer xerox machine. Waay faster and longer lasting than an ink-jet home do...
Any kinkos or Officemax or Office Deopt can print it for you.

Be forewarned, this is a large garment... i just finished putting the bodice together annnd its a full*runs off to go measure* 42" around.  At this point since i think im the only one starting this- it doesnt really matter, but for those to come- Im taking in most of the width of this garment at the front sides- sewing the vertical... boob seams? all the way in to where the darts end. I am taking in the back from the center seam.

Good Luck!

Several weeks ago I attempted to put this pattern together.  I've never printed out a show studio pattern before, and decided to try it the A4 size way with my at home printer. LOL, it was a mess.  I couldn't figure out how to make it print out at the right scale with Adobe, so I winged it, and I completely wasted my time trying to put it together when all the peices were the wrong size!!!

It wasn't too bad fitting all the peices together, nothing compared to what I heard and saw of the John Galliano Jacket!

WARNING: do not attempt to print out on letter size printer if you do not know what you are doing... hehe.

For now on I am DEFINITELY going to Kinkos!!!
