I found this material on the sale tables at hancock, and knew I had to make something odd with it. I took apart a shirt I got at old navy that had seen better days for the pattern. I adjusted it to be a little longer, added a little poof to the sleeves and attempted to round the collar. The collar ended up looking a little more like 70's style lobes than intended, but I think over all it's pretty nice.

i always find cool fabric in the apholstery sections. when thrifting i look at old sheets and tablecloths. i'm also often inspired by sheets at target, not sure what the equivalent is in the UK. oh and thanks for all the compliments, especially the ones about my funky collar. eases the mind.

Hummm... Upholstery sections... I'm not even sure if Boyes /has/ an upholstery section. Its the old shop that sells anything vaguely crafty. But MAYBE they'll have some nice sheets or something.

Ah well. Maybe I could buy some off ebay as well? *wonders*

The collar is lovey Tongue lmao.
