OK, I have noticed a few people starting up a "craftster blanket" with squares made from other people and sent to them.  Just a thought, but how about turning this into a swap??  I know I would like to start one but this might be a great starting place.

Thoughts/Suggestions??

How do you think it would work?

Not sure how it would work.  Maybe as a partner thing, each making one. Or as an ongoing swap.  A person could put there name up and what color/type blanket and the next person make a square and then put there name up, so on and so forth.

I guess first thing first, people have to show intrest  Wink Cheesy

This sounds interesting! Are we talking quilt squares or knit squares?

I guess that would depend on what blanket you are making.   I have seen knit, crochet and quilt.  I wouldn't mind one will a little of all.  Just because you sew and not crochet doesn't me that my blanket shouldn't have a square from you Smiley

So we'd have to specify what kind we want as well as what kind we can make right???

For instance, I'm looking for quilt squares, and I can make quilt squares...but I can't crochet, so I couldn't send to someone who needed granny squares  Wink  just to someone else who needed quilt squares.

We'd specify that right??

I would assume so.  I was thinking if it worked as an ongoing swap, you could get more and in your little bio you could state what you wanted (as far as size, type, and maybe even color)  and then wouldn't sign up till someone wanted something that you make.  Work it like a chain.

Thoughts?
