I'm in Fort Smith.
If anyone around here knits or crochets or does any kind of anything you can do in public while sitting in a chair and talking/drinking/laughing then bring your stuff on down to Sweet Bay next to Creekmore Park on Rogers Ave in Fort Smith for Stitch N Bitch every Thursday 6PM-8PM. Just look for the group of people knitting. We're usually in the room with the fireplace thing.

hey!  I used to live in Fayetteville until a year ago.  I am back in my home state of N.C. now but really miss Arkansas.

I'll definitely be coming back to visit, so I'll keep an eye on this board.

You would be surprised at the craftyness of the area! We mostly have a few hobby lobby stores to supply us, but there are some good dumpster dives and some great local yarn stores!!
