Group: Hi Tracy!

My name is Bambi, and I'm neglecting my wedding to send packages to strange women.

Oh, and Did I mention the craftster army tattoo? Pictures forthcoming. Grin

last night i finally sat down with my boyfriend and explained to him how swaps work.

needless to say, he was impressed and also kind of confused.  "wait, so WHY do you send stuff you spend ten hours making to someone you've never even met?"

bambi, congrats on getting married... if you ever get around to it.  swaps take precendence, right? Smiley

have people been thinking about crafts they could teach/want to learn?

it might be helpful to start brainstorming in this thread so that when people fill out their info for the swap, they know what's out there.

anyway, i could make a kit for embroidery, marble magnets, rubber stamp making, microscope slide pendants (i just use the foil tape, no soldering required!), sewing a jordy bag, making a mini journal, making stitch markers/simple beaded jewelry, and quilting.

as for stuff i want to learn, it is going to be so hard to narrow them down and put them in order!  soapmaking, needlefelting, making stuffies, stenciling, screenprinting, kanzashi flowers, knitting, crochet, paper making, making clay beads...

whew! i can't wait for this swap to start!
