The yarn is Japanese Noro Kureyon yarn- http://www.theknittinggarden.com/no-kureyon.htm Its probably the second one down. It fades from green to aqua to to blue to purple to red. Its a DREAM to knit with. I think I'm gonna get addicted to it Cheesy

Heh, the goddesses glow in the dark Cheesy

I guess at least I don't have to do a stake out to get my mail, just get my butt to the post office since they don't deliver
So that is what noro is, no wonder I hear so much about it, it is awesome

Here are the beautiful items Feren made for me.

First I must say I love this little witch! I still haven't come up with a name for her, but I am open to suggestions. She is the cutest and when you open her up she has a black pouch with stones inside.

These are the stones and the wand she made from a branch from a lilac tree. I love that it's so simple.

These are element bowls. The pictures a little fuzzy, but there are flames and the fire bowl, waves for water, dirt for earth and clouds/sky for air. Faren came up with the brilliant idea of using ceramic because it takes all four elements to make them. I love that! If I haven't said it before, you are brilliant, Annel!

And last but certainly not least is this beautiful framed cross stich. I hung this in my worship space as soon as I took it out of the box. I love it.

I'm am trilled with this swap, it has absolutly been my best one ever. I just hope that when Phantomssiren finally recieves her package she loves it as much as I do mine!

OMGs! That cross stitch is so adorable! And the tiny witch is cute too Cheesy

What stones are they? I think I recognise rose quartz but what about the others?

So glad you like everything!  Actually, the earth bowl has mountains on it, with snow on top.  Wink
but piles of dirt works too!  Painting those bowls really makes me want to get back into ceramics.  I really wanted to make them myself, make some pinch pots and raku fire them.  I love the look of raku.  But did not have the time, supplies(you really need a kiln handy) or money.  Oh well, it was fun anyway.  I need to start painting again.

PS.  phantomssiren-  the big rock one the left is petrified wood, then rose Quartz, Ameythest, and rutialied Quartz
I picked them out of my stash by intution, then looked up their magical properties, and there was a theme going!

I got sent home from work today 'cos I'm not well so I was feeling very down when I got home.

Then the postie arrived and actually knocked on the door for a change.

Earth Mama Diva! thank you so much! You totally got my taste (I love pink and turquoise together)! Wow! I love everything!

She sent me a painted cigar box (perfect for storing my parchments in), a painted chalice, a gorgeous crochetted bag (I must learn how to much such things) and tiny star shaped runes.

And she sent me some postcards, dice and a snowglobe from Vegas as I love that city. And a pen with a jiggly butterfly on it Cheesy Sadly there was a casualty. The snowglobe didn't make it Sad poor little thing cracked all the way across the top. gonna try to figure out a way to seal him.

oh, too bad about the snow globe phantomssiren.  I was so worried about the ceramic bowls I mailed to earth mama diva even though I wrapped them in so much bubble wrap it wasn't even funny, the mail can be awful like that.  It looks like you got a very good haul there.
I love the crocheted bag! What are the star runes made out off? Wood?

Yeah It was wrapped in lots and lots of bubble wrap and several bags but sometimes the post is like that. I'm sure they kick stuff around for fun sometimes.

Yeah feels like soft wood under the paint Smiley
