Original Thread: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=84872.0

PixieSkull said I could go ahead and make a gallery b/c I recieved and she recieved!  Woot!

What I sent PixieSkull:

>I sent two altar cloths--a small green one with sewn fossil plants--the other one is a black altar cloth with the greek key machine stitched on the border.
>The box is a salt box
>A medicine pouch
>a dream catcher

>My pride!! A house for her favorite diety: Pan.  And Pan himself.  I painted it and embelished the house with polymer clay roof tiles, tree and vines.  I also put a bunch of grapes on the roof--the tiles are also sprinkled with Chamomile dust.  Inside is polymer clay pan!  the background is of the green man woot!  I'm super proud!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And here is what I recieved from our organizer!

>This is the beautiful box my stuff came in!

>All the lovelies in side the box
>A lovely set up so I can celebrate Beltane!
---an inspiring silk flower arrangement
---four element dics
---dried rose petals and grapes
---candles
>A beautiful wand
>a BOS
>and oils from BPAL!!

>A jewelry set dedicated to Venus (my favorite diety) in a rosery style (which I also love!)

>A rather bad picture of the Venus pendant

Thanks so much for being my partner and organizer PixieSkull!!

Such awesome stuff!  I think you both outdid yourselves.  That house and pan has so much detail. Love the box PixieSkull sent you and that jewelry set looks sweet.  You both have inspired me to work that much harder on the stuff I'm making for earth mama diva.

I received! I love my stuff PhantomsSiren sent! I don't know what you were worried about. Smiley  My desk is still covered in all the stuff she sent, and the CD is playing now, like it so far!  It is raining right now so I am not going to try and take crapping photos, I"ll ask PhantomsSiren if she can post some or you guys will just have to suffer till it clears up!  There is so much stuff I don't even know where to start describing....so, from left to right on my desk.

2 altoid tins, one red, one blue, decorated with puffy paint and sparkles with the goddess on the top, the blue one has "Do what thoo wilt, that it harm none' on the bottom.  Inside is Properties of the stones and ribbons she sent along.
12!!! different colors of ribbons, I've never really encountered mention of using ribbons, but now I'm intrigued!
A wire and beaded pentagram, I think it would be neat in a window
a knitted drawstring bag with 8 different stones(I love rocks!)
another knitted drawstring bag(both very cute!) with a set of runes on black rocks!
A white pillar candle with wires wrapped around it with beads strung along them, so cool
a little notebook made out of recycled tires(bought) I didn't want anyone trying to figure out how she made something like that!  Wink
A mix CD that sounds really great so far! Had to put that in straight away!  And the cover is original art just for this swap! just for me! Grin it looks so professional.

I really love everything, a lot of time and effort went into it all.
Thank you PhantomsSiren!!!

Oh, some of that is gorgeous. Smiley

And makes me realize that I really could start putting together an altar.
I just need to find the right table. Smiley

Yay! Glad you liked!

I dont have any pictures as it was midnight when I finished and packed stuff, sorry.

Theres a progress shot of the CD cover in my DeviantArt account, I'm saving the finished piece until tomorrow (Beltane)- here

The track list was-
GreenMan- Type O Negative
Flamma- Qntal
Queen Of The May- Inkubus Sukkubus
Spin Moon Magic- The DreamSide
Love's Promise- Sieben
As The Bell Rings The Maypole Spins- Dead Can Dance
Illuminate- KarmaNaut
Pandora's Box- Jim Steinman
Driftwood (A Fairy Tale)- Cursive
Pagan Born- Inkubus Sukkubus
Aten Ra- The Cruxshadows
Tonight is What It Means To Be Young- Fire Inc
Eye Am Not I- KarmaNaut
Handfasting- Seiben
AfterAll- The Cruxshadows

I use ribbons to seal or continue spells or rituals, and I thought they were appropriate since its the Maypole time of year. Choose your colours by their usual meaning or their own meaning to you. You can use the whole ribbon or just a part of it during the ritual by tying at the base of the candle or around your wrist, fingers or waist. And once the ritual is complete you can keep the ribbon with you, or with whatever needs it. For example if you're doing a spell to help your garden grow you could cut the ribbon into small pieces and then tie a piece to each plant when you're finished. If your setting up protection for your property you can cut four pieces to tie at each corner of your boundaries (we've had a lot fo problems with vandals but this has help). Or for a love/relationship spell, braid several pieces together and then share them out with the relevant parties. Cut the ribbon BEFORE you do the ritual unless it is a ritual of ending or you might not get the result you wish for.

I will probably post pics tomorrow, this weekend has been quite busy.  I love all of the music, you introduced me to some new stuff, my fav is Queen of the May, it is awesome.  Thanks for the info on ribbons too, it really intrigues me.

Tadiera, don't let not having the "right" table stop you, it will come along eventually, till then use your coffee table or card table, anything!  (not that I practice much,  Wink)

Alright, this was one of my favorite swaps, if not my favorite, so far. I had so much fun making this set. I got to paint, glue, bead and learn bookbinding. Very informative process. And that rosary... I was almost tempted to keep that one and make another one for you but I decided that would be assholish. At least now I have a template for my own goddess rosary. I love that goddess charm, btw, I have another one for similar usage.

And that Pan statue and the house? WOW! I must say that Pan is VERY pleased with it and he's already been invoked to christen the little house his own way. It's gorgeous! Thanks for posting the pictures, btw, my camera's really crap right now. Both of the altar cloths are in use right now; the black is the base cloth and the green is for the northern quarter and for Pan's hut.

I wish I would have thought of this! I had a discussion recently on pagan music and we all agreed that it's not easy to find good stuff. Sounds like a good mix. I like the addition of GreenMan by Type O Negative, a little unexpected.

Be sure to contact me as soon as you either receive your package or your partner tells you they've received their package from you. We're so close to closing this swap up.

All right, I'm finally getting these posted, I actually took the pics Mon, just have not had a chance to post.
I thought about retaking the pics since they are so dark, but it is raining today too!

I really wish you could see the colors in this wool, so pretty! Is the wool hand spun phantomssiren?

I went through my original post to make sure I didn't miss anything, and sure enough I had forgotten the candle there is so much great stuff! Oh, I didn't take a pic of the notebook she bought. If it ever gets sunny here I will try to remember to take pics of that and another one of the two bags.

While I'm posting I thought I would put this up.  It is the only pic of anything I sent to earth mama diva,
I got it done early, everything else I was in such a hurry to ship I forgot.  Untie the ribbon and she opens up and has a sent of different stones in her.

Thanks for looking!  Much thanks to PixieSkull for organizing and to Earth mama diva and Phantomssiren for being great partners!  This was a nice cozy swap.

edited for crappy spelling
