Hey, where did your pic of the 3 pigs go?  Anyway, I saw it last night, and didn't have a chance to comment that it looked great!  Perfect for a little girl, I agree.   Ooh - Holly Hobby - that is so 80's old school - I love it!  Maybe Ebay - they have patterns for everything...

I thought it would be better to move it. Your work is so nice, we're not even in the same category!  Tongue Thanks for the compliments though! I will be doing more!

Here's the link if you'd like to see it. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=93310.msg881411#msg881411

Yes, I did!  You can find the link in my description.  Actually I neglected to mention that one cat is from that site and the other cat is from www.needlecrafter.com: http://www.needlecrafter.com/frameset.php?load=http://www.needlecrafter.com/patterns.html  It's one of the Days of the Week cats...

He he, thanks smarmyclothes - and by the way, I love that name!  It fits my kitschy designs perfectly! Smiley

I adore how you've revamped those cool vintage kitties!  I am dying to know how you embroider the t-shirt knit without stabilizer...Do you use a hoop?  I find that anything I do ends up totally crinkly  Sad Beautiful work, I love your stuff!

Thank you!  Yes I do use a hoop, and I find that's all I need.  Just avoid pulling your stitches too tight or too loose, a little practice and you've got it...  Also, don't pull your t-shirt too tight in the hoop - it's never going to be fully taut, like cotton - a little loose is perfect.  Here's another kitty in a hoop:
