I hadn't been interested in this sweater so wasn't keeping up on this thread but after seeing a pic of your finished one, my interest is growing.

I've decided that my RR has to be finished by next friday (I'm giving it away  ), so I'm making progress by now. Reached the shaping part of the sleeves, not bad, eh?

duh, it just hit me i could make this using the 4ply soft i have abandoned.  i'd like it better in wool anyway.  might have to cast on for this!

That is what I used and I loved it.  I just like the feel of wool over cotton and I like the way 4-ply soft drapes.  Good luck!

I'm almost there, folks.  I've got to seam the sleeves and sides, and then do the buttons and ribbon.  oh, and the roses on the front.  but hopefully that should get done pretty soon.  (fingers crossed).  lots of WIP photos on my blog, if you're interested...

I'm getting there too. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it today. 3 roses left, sew in loose ends, sew buttons in place and join sleeves. Jayy! Finalement!
