I've just started knitting this, and have yet to find a knit-along for it. Would anyone be interested in knitting this with me?

Here's a link with the picture:

I'm in...I bought the pattern and my yarn for this project and was planning on starting in the next week or so. I am using Rowan 4-ply soft in #378 Daydream as I am not a big fan of knitting with cotton.  I will post when I get started--glad to know someone else out there is knitting this sweater!

Thanks, Miss Lulu!

Jemmer, so glad you will be joining me! I'm using Brown Sheep Cotton Fine, in Victorian Pink. I love this yarn already. I'm not too fond of working with cotton either, due to its inelasticity, but this stuff has some wool in it, and it gives it a nice bounce. The color isn't exactly what I was hoping for, but it is a lovely, rosey pink. I was just picturing something closer to a very light mauve. I've gotten about an inch of the back ribbing done thus far. I'm actually really enjoying working with the tiny needles. I won't be finishing this quickly, because I've SO MUCH going on right now with school, but I'll be knitting on this whenever I get a chance, and if I haven't finished by my break, will probably work on it nonstop during that time!

I really like this one too! I've just started to knit Knitty's Starsky (stupid, since summer's coming up) but if I can find some yarn that I like that's not as expensive as Rowan's I think I'll join you.

Are you making any progress? Is it taking forever since you're using so small needles?

Yes, come join us VivaPia!

I casted on Sunday and am a little over half way through the ribbing of the back.  I think once that is done then it will go a lot faster but I haven't been discouraged by the small needles as yet.  I am LOVING it so far.  I know it is just the ribbing but the Rowan 4-ply Soft I am using is so, well, soft.  I think it is going to work great for the sweater.

Good luck finding yarn!

Yes, please do join! I actually enjoy the tiny needles (at least thus far). As for a cheaper yarn sub, Brown Sheep Cotton Fine is working well for me.

Jemmer, you must knit fast! I haven't had much time to work on it, but I am about halfway through that ribbing as well. The ribbing is definitely slowing me down.

I am done with the back ribbing!!!  It took a while but I was so thrilled with how it was looking and am so excited to get to the fun part in the front that I kept going.  Here is how it is looking so far...

I am seriously loving how soft this yarn is.

Yours looks great! Looks like we are using the exact same color. I'm not happy with my ribbing, so I decided to rip back. It will set me back, but I will be happier with the product in the end, so I don't mind.

I agree, it is always better to fix something that bugs you then to keep going and just hope it stops bugging you.  I can't wait to see your progress!
