Ohdear.
I just thought of something.
If I make it without the laces, it won't be adjustable.
Oh well...

my fingers killed me too, until i discovered the glories of a thimble!
the necklace i made is actually pretty long.  on the picture it looks short because i tied it on the back.
if you make it only with a clasp, you can always attach a clasp to a ribbon and make it detachable.  does that make any sense?

and sunsmomma, post your creation too!  it'll be better to understand.

Oh, a thimble! That's so smart!
I'm pretty close to being done, so I dcide to make it non-adjustable.
It's turning out pretty well, if I do say so myself!

I should be posting the results either tomorrow or Friday.

A COOL TIP I FORGOT!!

you dont need to jam-pack your necklace with "scrap-sandwiches."
in fact, its good to leave it "flexible," not to squeezed together.
you wont see any space in between them and they will be nice and "flow," and not look stiff!

Nearly done, but I'm almost out of scraps!
That's a good thing to make when you have a lot of extra scraps to small to use for something else.

It's finished!
It's a bit poofier than I expected, but I'm rather pleased with the outcome.
Now, without further ado, my necklace!

I love being scary ^^   (heehee, notice the toilet in the background?)

Note to Self: Never be a model (sorry for it being sideways. Photobucket hates me right now)

Admiring it.

All in all, I like it. Thanks for the awesome tutorial Kiss

cheers hun!!  and that thing that i hang my necklace?  hahahaa!  its a cheap, plastic kitchen utensile hanger.  do you know the kind of thing that you hang spatulas, cookin spoons, whisks, etc?  its one of those.  i also stuck some of those suction cup things on the mirrow and hang more stuff from it.
