That look so neat!  I've heard of kool aid dying but have never seen the finished product.

Is it color fast or will it run when you wash it?  Do you have any idea what the yarn is going to be used for?

I used 6 cups water
4 cups vinager
one pouch kool aid

mix it all in pan, while heating soak yarn in sink in warm water, then when mixture is almost to boil add yarn, simmer 45 minutes, take out i let it cool to room temp then rinse out and let dry Smiley

How did the yarn turn out variegated if you only used one packet of Kool-aid?

What kind of yarn did you use, cotton or acrylic?
