so here's the pics of the 2 wedding gowns i've made.  the first was my own.  made it from a mccalls pattern i believe.  easy as pie once i got the fitting right.
here i am in the fitting stages.... never mind the mess.  roomate and i were both preparing to move cross country. the fabric i used was this lucious hemp silk from dharma trading goods.  the description for it was"if this fabric was a person, you'd want to marry them."  and damned if they weren't right!  its flowy, shimmery, and the color is so subtle and romantic.
and here's a nice classy shot of me and some of our groomsmen LOL
sorry, i can't find better/clearer shots right now.

and this is my friend carly's dress.  i wouldn't personally classify this mama as plus sized but she was indeed bumpin out at 4 monthes into her pregnancy.  so i wanted to make her dress so it would accomodate if baby Blue decided to grow really fast the week before.
here it is in the planning stages
i don't think i have any really good pics that show the detail to the dress. it was absolutely gorgeous and flattering on.

Your dress is beautiful.  I wanted to tell you that I have some of that silk/hemp fabric too.  I bought it because they said I'd want to marry it.  I love it so much, I can't decide what to make out of it.
