Yup.... boning is my friend  Grin  I used the run of the mill stuff from joannes for the dress.... the custom corset underneath, she used some industrial grade metal ones.  They did the job very well... except when one decided to dig into my fat hip.  But I was on the adrenaline rush and rarely noticed.

I really like your friend Carly's dress, and I was wondering if you used boning and thinking maybe not cos of the babybump.... did you use a pattern? Both dresses are so flattering.

I believe in carly's I did actually use some lightweight stuff in the sides.  But with the way its formed, you really don't even need it.  I used patterns for both of them.  Carly's was a Vogue pattern.  I was pulling my hair out half way through.  I trully despise Vogue's directions.  Or I should say, LACK of directions.
