I found this when I was going through some crochet pattern books to sell on eBay.  I actually like the sweater though.

I think that would look really cool if you cut it off a little.  So that the sweater came down from the arm hole, mimicking the triangle.  It would look a little like a poncho with arms, and you could wear it over a tank top.  (Or if you were more adventurous than I am, you could wear it bare midriff...)
