Hi guys! It's been a while since I posted to Craftster. I haven't really been crafting much since I stopped making bags. But I've recently taken up crochet (finally, after 10 years of knitting...). The reason for my sudden interest in crochet is because of amigurumi. I can't get enough of the little suckers! Two of my latest projects are a black lamb & a little pill guy. They're both my own designs. The little pill guy was just something to make, since I haven't come up with a bigger project yet. He makes me laugh  Cheesy I have a few more amigurumi in my gallery there, but only the Panda-z plush is my own design. The other ones are out of Japanese craft books ^_^

That lamb is so cute and lamb-y! I can just imagine it leaping around in that funny little lamb way. You've done a great job. The pill is very cute too!

Where do you buy all your japanese craft books? Some of the things in them are just too cute, but I can  never find them for a good price. Usually they cost a fortune~ Any good places to buy?

Depending on where you live, I'd recommend Kinokuniya - that's where I buy my Japanese books. Their prices are very reasonable and the have a good selection (although the store near me is very small compared to the ones in Seattle and SF!). They also take orders online, but if you can't read Japanese it might be hard for you to navigate. But you can search for anything as long as you have the ISBN, or if you just search for the Japanese characters for "amigurumi" - あみぐるみ - if that's what you're looking for. The ordering system is pretty straightforward. The only thing is that they have different things in stock at their different stores, so I'm not sure if they'll charge you more if you order stuff from more than one branch. The best part is that you pay domestic shipping instead of all the $$$ you pay for shipping at Amazon Japan. They usually ship the next business day, too Smiley
