Eh.. I have finished softball season. And with out softball practice after school my evenings have become really lame. So I figured...hmm.. A disco ball to hang from my rear view mirror. . . . Yeah... I'm that bored.

Anyways Here's what I used:
-Cds
-Some Hedge Trimmer Scissors
-Hot Glue
-Ribbon/String of Some Sort
-Styrofoam Ball

Result=

It actually turned out pretty neat for a 20 minute project!

Is the ball sharp? That's a great idea by the way!

Awesome!  That'd be an excellent use for those pesky AOL CDs. Smiley

That looks great--any chance for a simple tute?  Do you bake the cds to soften before cutting them?

That is one of the coolest things i have ever seen.  those huge disco balls are so expensive, you should make a giant one and have a disco party!

No, I've never baked the CDs... I never even really thought of that...

I wonder if it works??

And sure in a little I'll post a tutorial.
