It's my first published pattern.  It's simple, but I'm enjoying it.  I might make slight mods and knit up another one to use as a digital camera case.

This is funny, because just a few hours ago, I was thinking...

I wonder how I can make a case for my glasses, because I don't want to loose any more pairs.

Thank you, I'll try it soon  Kiss

woohoo... I'd love to see pics of it when you're done.  What kind of yarn are you going to use?

Congratulations on your first published pattern!! That is a great on too!

I have tried to write patterns... it is really hard, so I have respect for anyone who does it.

Thanks for posting it for us! Cheesy

I don't know what kind of yarn to use. And I'll have to buy some needles, because I haven't knitted anything except scarves when I was a little girl. It's funny, because I found the very first thing that I ever knitted yesterday. But as soon as I'm done with school then I'll get started, and I'll post pictures too  Smiley

Thanks, Tamara!  Desgning items that are basically squares really isn't that difficult - and this is basically a square knit up.  It's when you get into more complex shaping and short rowing that things get scary.

SRDesigns, you can pretty much use any worsted weight yarn with size 7 US (4 1/2mm) needles and you should be good to go!  You'll only need one skein, unless you want to use multiple colours.

I actually put this pattern on my too do list and looked at knitting it yesterday, but didn't have the right yarn Cry

but then I never have the "right" yarn, or the "right" needle  Embarrassed
