UPDATED!  5-7-06
Here are three of the dishcloths I've made.  All are made with Lily's Sugar n'Cream 100% cotton yarn in colors to match my mom's kitchen.  The patterns came from the book The Big Book Of Dishcloths 99 Designs To Crochet by Leisure Arts.

This dishcloth is blue, yellow, and white variegated.

This dishcloth is a beige color with blue, pink, and purple flecks.

(I eventually hope to do this dishcloth in red and white variegated for Christmas,  because it reminds me of a peppermint!)

This dishcloth is a solid light blue color (kind of a country blue).

Hope you like them!

Cute colors! I like it! You know what is nice on a dish cloth? I like to make a little chain at the very end and make it into a loop for hanging to dry! Just a thought! But your work is nice, I like that it is not all wonky, but it is nice and square! Good job!

That's a good idea about the loop.  I should do that for my own kitchen.  My mom, however, likes to drape hers on the divider between the sinks (we have one of those divided sinks so you actually have two connected sinks) so a loop isn't neccessary.  But it's a great idea.
I was a little worried about it coming out more rectangle than square, but it did fine after washing.  Besides, I figured it was a dishcloth so who cares if it was rectangle/square right?  lol.
Thanks for the compliments!

More dishcloths!  Awesome!  I used this same pretty yarn.. Blue and yellow just says "kitchen" to me.

I've see the loop idea in some of the patterns.  I should add it to my new dishcloths.  I'm one of those who drape them between the two sinks.... Well actually I'm a new convert to dish towels.  Until recently I was just using sponges and paper towels.  These are much more fabulous.

Just wanted to say that I've updated this thread with two new dishcloths.  They are in the main body message at the top!  Thanks for reading!

Ooh I love that circle one. I found a bunch of patterns online, and did a ruffly circle one.  Mom will get it on Sunday.  I was thinking of making a bunch of little ones for the kids bathtime.

I am convinced that hand made crocheted dish clothes may be one of the best gifts ever. And the cool range of styles you made made them even better. Awesome!

Great job on them all!

I really like the round one and agree that with red and white it would look like a peppermint.  You can also get a variegated red, white and green and I've used it for Christmas cloths before.

Another fun thing to make for Christmas time is this dishcloth - it's shaped like a Christmas light:
