My husband is currently studying the cultures of India at the university and in addition to living in a place that is known for its huge Sikh community and Sikh festival that attracts over 40,000 Sikhs each year.....and loving all the shops with all the beautiful goods...just wanna know if there is any interest.....(or any reason for me to shop locally  Wink).

im not sure what this swap would entail? like, would we swap you for indian items? or would we make sikh themed items? even if this doesnt work out, you should deffinently shop locally Cheesy

and the pimp my schwinn idea was cool, panniers would be awesome, but i dont have a sewing machine to make them myself or for someone else, and i ride where "pretty" things wouldnt really work out... alittle too rough Tongue but im sure if you talk it up people will come!

Oooo.....thanks for the reply!  I changed the name of the swap!

It would entail anything inspired by India.

The earrings...the gold...the shoes...the fabric...well, here are some links:

I'd be interested. I was drooling over the India inspired fabrics in the fabric store the other day.
