I made a few modifications to a white skirt that I had originally thrifted for Halloween and never wore.  I like polka dots and anchors...

So here is the semi-before...more like a work in progress because I totally forgot to take a pic before I started!


And here is the finished skirt, hanging with a thrifted top (thought they looked cute together...the shirt has little ruffles):


And the detail of the anchor/star buttons/ribbon that I added:


I didn't embroider the anchor, it was a patch I found for $1.  It was a small and easy project, but I like how it turned out!

Love it!!

I just saw some anchor appliques at a store a week ago and didn't know what I would do with it. Now I will go back and buy ribbon too so I can make a cute skirt  Cheesy Way to go!
