Found a pink idea at last - strawberry ice-cream!  A kind friend took me to the fabulous Chelsea Flower Show last week, which was amazing AND exhausting - was very glad of some wonderful strawberry ice-cream, so decided to piece a small cushion with ice-cream cones and flowers as a thank-you gift - especialy as this is the second year she has done this.  Templates drawn and cut out, started cutting the fabric - will keep you posted.

That is a great idea! I'm going to the fabric store today in search of pink flamingo fabric. I saw some really cool fabric a while ago, I hope they still have it! I'm going to line a placemat purse with it then maybe make a skirt. The only problem is the fabric is mostly black with pink flamingos.  Maybe some pink jewelery to match will be in order?  I'm still not 100% sure about pink and it is a color I actually wear! Although, I probably shouldn't since I cut my hair recently and it really looks just like Molly Ringwold in Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Pretty in PinkRoll Eyes Not a good look for 2006! 1986 yes, 2006 not so much!

I did finish my May project, I just need to recharge my battery on my camera and take a picture!

I finished the Exchange Bag in Jade (it says Emerald but it looks more Jade to me) from the SNB Happy Hooker Crochet book.

AND I just realized I have the perfect Pink fabric to make something out of for this month! Yippie!

cute projects everyone!!!!

urk.  I have a rather silly aversion to pink because it is the "girly" color.  Bother, what can i make?Huh? Anyone have ideas?Huh?

Life getting suddenly and insanely hectic without warning got in the way of my making a greenformay project, bother.

Pillow top is pieced - about 16" square - now I need to make it up with an envelope back and perhaps some cord around the outside.  Pic will follow in a day or two - I don't have my own cam.

No pink aversions!  Cry It is the most wonderful color ever!!

I'm thinking I might do a recon to a plain white t-shirt. I'm trying to decide what kind of dye I should buy. A little pink? A lot of pink? Holy crap pink? And then maybe a stencil or something.

It's so scrumptious! I love pink... I might make more than one thing this month....  Grin

Hi, I just joined craftster today, too! I made myself a green purse in May, will post tomorrow as it is 10pm here? Or would you rather I just started in June with pink?

May I add, RonnieCat, that there are all sorts of shades of "pink" from purple-ly shades to red ones?

I'll check the posts tomorrow to see where I stand in this craft-along. This is going to be fun, because it will challenge me to use colors I'm not so fond of, as well!

Layzeedayzee, your little bag is really cutelooks very summery.  I like that green lining.  I have some placemats that color that I'm planning to use to make a placemat purse.  The caterpillar is adorablelove his feet!

Fudgegirl, looking forward to seeing your leaf earrings!  I'm planning earrings for my pink project.

Joler79, what a good idea to make a crocheted ball for your little boy.  You did a good job, and he is a cutie.

TreeTree, the little green bookworm made me smile.  Very cute!

Jehnaier, your wee Irishman is irresistible to meI'm half Irish.  Smiley  And I like to knit.

Anotheer, very cool earring!

Zenos241, good job on the box!  It looks really pretty.

It's fun to see the ideas everyone is coming up with.  I can't wait to see Stephen Weaver's pink ice cream pillow, pawnshoppromise's Care Bear, Indieanajess' scarf, Pinky's pink flamingo stuff, Tangerine Dream's jade bag, lazeedayzee's t-shirt, and Sewknitter's green purse.
