Ive just seen all those brilliant craftalong-ideas and creations, all this beautiful fabric, beads, and etc.

That gave me an idea....

What do you think about making a colour theme for every month, and make one, or maybe more things in a special colour.
It doesn't matter what you make, it can be a bag, clothes, jewellery's or whatever you have in mind.

My suggestions for colour themes:

2006
May: Green
June: Pink
July: Yellow
August: Orange
September: Red
October: Blue
November: Black
December: White
January: All the colours of the rainbow

* You don't have to use for example one kind of orange, you can choose every orange in the orange colour scale you want.
* It's okay to mix the theme colour with some few others if you cant avoid it. But remember to keep the theme colour the dominating colour.
* Deadline for posting the monthly picture are 7 days after the fx. green theme month.

Everyone are more than welcome to participate!

**Update June 29'th: Ive changed September from being a Violet month to a red month, since pink and violet are in the same scale.

I'm in.  What a great idea!  Blue is my favorite color, so I tend to make all my crafts in blue, so this would be a GREAT way to explore other colors.

I like it! I like it a lot! I even have a couple of green crafts on deck for May!

Orange will be tough though...... I have a bizare aversion to Orange. But something like this will be good for me. It will force me to incorporate differant colors into my crafty-ness!

Sounds nifty! (not to mention motivational)
Would crafting something that especially features that colour (rather than being wholly of the month's colour) be okay?

This sounds like fun! I think I'll join in.

I just had an idea...maybe one month could be rainbow? Or a combination of colours?

That is fine, as long you don't let the other colour take over the theme colour.

Good idea! Let's say that January 2007 is "the month of possibility". The month where we will use the colours of the rainbow.
