I found this well-fitting shirt at the thrift store, but it had a Whole Foods applique on it...So i stencilled a skull on an old pillowcase, applied interfacing, and stitched it over the Whole Foods logo.

Placement (the little green box is where the back tag is stitched on, you can't see it when I'm wearing it):

Tag on the back (hand written with acrylics):

I'm terribly frightened of applique and somehow I always screw it up, but this was super easy, maybe because I'm familiar with stencilling, so the task didn't seem as daunting!

That is two awsome crafts in one!
A of all- the skull look great. Super clean! I like the skull on the flowery fabric too!
B of all- The applique is awesome! Did you run it on a machine or do it by hand?
C of all- The tag is rockin' too. I may have to buy some/make some to put into handmade/restitched things!

I used my machine to stitch it on- with black thread on the spool and green thread in the bobbin. The tag was super easy and quick to make- it would even be quicker to use a fabric pen (which would probably only work on lighter fabrics such as this one). I just stiffened it up with interfacing.
