glass eyes make me excited in bad ways

Hello~ I recently finished some dreadlock falls for my doll Cicek ^__^ I'm pretty happy with how they came out, but I'm sure there is much much much room for improvement Grin Anywho, just wanted to share some pictures of them! I made them out of wool roving that I had originally planned to make some small hats out of... hehe, I had some issues with those plans, and instead decided to go with some dreadlocks instead. My first ones <3

One thing I'm concerned about is how to attach them to her wigs... Right now they're sewn/rubber banded to some tiny hair claw clippy things, and while those work, they tend to slide out of her hair  Undecided If anyone has any ideas on how to improve (or change) this, I'd love to hear them ^__^

Thanks Cheesy

Wow, that's a great doll all around, did you make her?  Great colors for the dreads too.  About keeping them in her hair, I dunno.  Are regular weaves sewn in?

Totalele, hiya! It's great to see another DoA'er here Cheesy And thank you, sometimes I think Nabee is a bit underrated over there, so it's nice to hear that people know what kind of doll Cicek is  ^__^

GraceOblivious, thank you Smiley I think they defiintly give some character to her~

radal16, Thanks =D I did not make her, she's a resin ball jointed doll from Korea~ As for sewing weaves... I'm not too sure actually! I think some people who make drealocked doll wigs will sewn them in as wefts, unfortunatly I'm none too hip with a sewing machine so I dont think I'll be trying my hand at that any time soon Wink Someone from another forum suggested I use straight pins to pin them into her wig cap, and it works perfectly for now Smiley

Im not sure what the wig portion of the doll looks like but with ordinary sized wigs you can use a small latchook to pull the roving through. For extra stability and seamlessness Id say try to latchook the roving first and then felt it after its attached.
