That is a great bag!  And the stars make it perfect for Summer "toting"!
I have joined a Summer Tote swap at another online club and this is the one I'm making... I just need to find the fabric to make it perfect for my swap buddy!

the frogs are cute!  Just thought it was a pattern at first, but then on closer inspection... nice touch!

Dang I wish I was at home sewing instead of making the money to fund the obsession!  This bag really makes me want make one.  Thanks.    Grin

I finally did it! I made this for a Tote Bag swap on another site.  I used a natural color Duck Cloth and a Nautical themed print.

I love the design of this purse. The light blue is so soothing. I've been meaning to make a bag with those straps and now I know how.

OK, it's official - I am an idiot.

Despite Gloriana's great and clear tutorial I managed to add the straps to the opposite sides...and now it's next to useless because it's impossible to wear it around my shoulder. I'm still thinking of a way to correct it without having to take the whole thing apart again. Anyway, here's a pic, because the fabric is so cool for a shopping bag.
