My partner in the recent harry potter swap wanted a house scarf... so, well, I got to thinking...
I can knit - but I can't purl, increase, decrease or remember how to cast off without instructions. Given this, Ribbon yarn is my friend becasue it looks like it must have been super complicated to make all the ruffles, but it's actually easy-peasy even for a total beginner like me.

So I whipped up a black frilly scarf, and added yellow button decorations on the ends for some Hufflepuff-iness. For even more 'puff power I embroidered a little badgers paw onto felt and sewed that on in place of the final button  Grin
perfect beginners project, and happy swap partner to boot
