Please help.  Can I felt using garter st. Or can I felt using Stockiingette st?

If you want to mask stitch definition, maybe stockinette would be better because it's smoother to begin with.  But if you don't want curling, then go with garter.  Felting will minimize curling issues but I don't know if it will stop it altogether.

I love the way garter stitch looks felted and it will be stiffer, but you get a really smooth fabric from stockinette....  Wink

You should make a couple of swatches and felt them, to see which result you like more. You might want to incorporate both.
