yahoo!!  All the drawstring pouches have reached their new homes!  I had several different "extras" - rolls of ribbon that look like measuring tape; a pewter charm of a sea turtle; and "Swanky Hankies," fancy pocket kleenex that looks like fancy handkerchiefs.

so glad that everyone enjoyed!   Kiss

I can see a scarf being *really* usefull in a place that gets a real winter....

(shudders) I hate cold and wet...

 *edited to add*
(laughs) I'm starting to think I need a this side up sticker for the birds... the seam side goes up...  the only person out of almost fifty who have seen them who knew that does origami as a hobby and has 1,000+ paper cranes in her living room.

I'm beginning to wonder if I should put a oval head with tentacles on an unadulterated square and see if I can get a chuthulu.....

I also received the purple bird pin cushion.  Well when I first received it, I did the same thing.  I was wondering why it doesn't look like a bird at all.  I think maybe it is abstract bird pin cushion.   Cheesy  Then eventually I turned it rightside up and figure it out.. Grin  There is the bird.

hertrigger -- I am glad that your mom like the scarf.  I love knitting scarves.  BTW I live in CA too.  I wear spring/summer scarf.  And wear scarf in the wintertime because my office is always cold.  I am glad that this swap allows me to find home for my knitted stuff, without stockpiling them at home.

Penguino I like knitting stuff for other people too. It feels good when other people wear stuff that you made personally for them.

Eveyone, don't worry but I am sending my stuff a little late. Prom is this weekend so I have been scrambling around trying to get everything ready and stuff.  It was sort of a last minute thing, otherwise I would have gotten everything out earlier. My camera is finaaly working so I took pictures of what I have gotten so far Smiley The photos are a bit washed out but it is hard to take good pics with a bad camera an no natural light

The picture is a bit hard to see but it has the knitted washcloth and scarf from penguino, the pouch from writer78 complete with the iPod that inhabits it now and the button earings and greeting cards from heart-on. Thanks so much! I love getting knitted stuff from other people penguino! The scarf is so pretty and its blue!!! Writer, the ipod fits almost perfectly! Heart-on the button earings are so cute and the cards are fabulous!

Here is the other stuff I got so far Smiley

It is the bird pincoushion and pouch from Mikaiyawa and the coin pouch from hertrigger. The coin purse is so cute and tiny and it has pick polka dots in the inside! So cute! Mikaiyawa, it took me a while to figure out the birdie too! I just figured it out then when I took the pictures Cheesy It is cute now that I have figured it out Smiley Thanks so much guys! So far I have gotten seven things so there are more pics to come Smiley

Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?

today I received 6 peppermint princess-pops from my buddy princessblueberry.  They're delish!  I have eaten two already!   Tongue

They look better/greener in real life; my scanner wasn't especially kind.  It's just jealous that I get to eat them, I guess!
