I got my last item from our lovely swap andel mikaiyawa! Thanks for the blue beaded lanyard! It is so cool, I am going to use it to keep my sharpie at hand (I work at Starbucks, and we are always fighting over sharpies... I bring my own! everyone likes to leave the lids off and they dry up! UGH!)... anyway, thanks Mieka~ Yours is on its way (well I'm sending tomorrow... I've got to take one more day to feel better!) THanks!

take as long as you need to feel better first.

I hadn't thought of using the leash for a pen.... it makes to much sense..

I also received from mikaiyawa today.  The purple beaded lanyard and 2 stitch markers (I think, I am not sure what the two loops with beads is for).  I want to wear it to work but it does not safe-breakoff.  I don't want to break it.  Maybe I will only use it when it is meeting day.  Thank you.  I receive all the goodies.

drink markers to go around the stem of a glass or the handle of a mug. I cannot drink alcohol so being able to tell my glass from someone else's is kind of critical at gatherings.  And we were using them to tell our mugs apart when Lance had the Killer 'Flu (and later when I got it)

I'll have to see if I can find break away latches that small, isn't something I thought of.... I wonder if the ones for cat collars would work... (wanders off pondering)

i got my goods from mikaiyawa  a few days ago . . sorry i've been lagging on my show off for so long, but my MIL just passed away and i've had SO MUCH to do this past 2 weeks it's been crazy.

i got the most beautiful bracelet (?) from mikaiyawa. i say "?" because i'm not sure if that's what it's supposed to be, but i just loop it over a few times and it's a totally rockin bracelet. the beads are clear, and thats perfect for me  as my birthstone is a diamond.  Grin

i also got some really great drink markers. which i immediatly passed on to my mom because she LOVES wine, and has the space in her home to accomodate people other than herself and my dad, which my husband and i unfourtunatly dont  Wink  she freaking LOVED them.  and said " well thats just about the custest idea i've ever seen" while holding one up and jingling the beads.

mikaiyawa thank you SO MUCH again for being an angel in this swap!

eek!  funerals are ucky...  Cry

the lanyard can be either bracelet or necklace... is how it's comfortable.  The loop is a place to clip an ID (as many places require then nowadays)  a pen (Java was going to latch a Sharpie) or keys or whatever...

I had the PO box key on one for the longest time...
