oops.. initially posted in the sign up and gossip page..

I found my first package in the mail today, from Writer78.

It's a pretty velvet pouch in a dark dark brown velvet.  It's teeny (just big enough to can stuff my cell phone in it *then* into a bigger pouch and not need to worry about the stupid thing getting scratched up by my keys.)  but have the perfect use for it.

she also snuck a cute bit of ribbon trim in the bag.

Thank YOU!

Looks like my stuff will be ready to go at the lastest by this Friday.  All that's left is four fat birds...

I'm so delighted that it arrived quickly!  They are indeed tiny pouches; I always get a little bit of nerves over whether the pouches are useful to people.  It's terrific fun to hear how they're being used.  Please enjoy, and THANKS for playing swap with all of us!!

I don't generally make pouches as small as yours, they just aren't useful for the crew I play with.  4x6 is about as small as I can sell and have them move. ( mind I'm playing with guys who want a backpack on their belts, the women just carry a basket)

I like it, and like I said it's just the right size for the leash (aka the cell phone)

even Lance liked it... he just had to rib me about having buttons just like the ones you used though.. (wry smile)  what can I say I'm a supplies pack rat.

I just adore that pouch pattern - I make the tiny ones as coin purses, medium as makeup pouches or small purses, and I even made a large one that I use for carrying my workout clothes.  I've got to take some time and make a really glammed-up Victorian one; then I can call it a "reticule," as they used back in those days.  Mmm, I can just see it with embroidery and lace... yep, I'm a drawstring pouch maniac...  Tongue

i sent off 3 of my packages today, but my sewing machine is still being poopy so i have to wait to finish the other 2. i think it was fabric that i made one of them with that might have clogged it up or something, i have to wait till next week for my mom to get home :/
