i just wanted to post some pics of the things i sent to beth so you can see them a little clearer..i had to edit mine like crazy so dont mide some of the odd blue lines and what not...no idea why it does that..lol

Awesome!  Thanks for posting better pics!  And I'm glad you don't feel the need to recon my shirt!     Also, glad you got a clear pic of the coasters - I wanted to post a pic of the Hermione brewing polyjuice potion, but I couldn't get a good one.  That's totally my favorite coaster!  I'm bringing it to work so I can put my coffee on it during the day!!

Seriously, great job on everything - I'm glad you're getting the props you deserve on your awesome stuff!!    You did an absolutely killer job for your first swap!!

Also love everything else that's getting posted - the shiny hogwarts bag, the darkmark ornament (how clever!), and the snitch necklace is a really cool idea too!  I was thinking when I saw the shape of it how someone who likes tattoos (NOT me) could think about doing that across their chest sort of the way the necklace hangs.  Random thought, I know, but I know people like to do tats that shape and size in that spot.

A knitting needle bag in Slytherin colors, with the quote, "I do so love knitting patterns."
I've been wanting a needle holder, and have been too lazy to sew one for myself, this is great. I've already started putting my needles in there


Dark Mark bag, Slytherin colors.  Very cute, and I think I'll use it to keep my extra yarn and needle case in. 


HP Jean Jacket.  I love this, and think it's my favorite.  It fits me perfectly and hopefully tommorrow my hubby wil take a pic of me in this and the cute skirt!

Awww, thanks!  miss_katonic, I am so pleased that you like your stuff!  I was seriously worried.  When you said that you'd love an HP themed skirt, I had to figure out how to do one!

I'm really impressed that my stuff looks much better photographed than I thought it would.LOL

I was thinking of your knitting when I made the small tote bag.  I had plans to bead the darkmark, but my lord! that's quite a job.  So in the end, I simply painted it on.  I took a chance on the sizing of the jacket - I actually got two, but that one seemed closer to what I figured from your pics on myspace!  The skirt was quite a to-do!!  I printed off pictures that I particularly liked and then used my daughter's Nickolodeon lightbox to trace them in pencil (had to wing some parts-like faces) and then went over them with a transfer pen.  Oh, I thought I was so cool!LOL  Until I realized that transfer pen doesn't work the best on dark denim!!!  I ended up on the floor with the picture next to me, hand drawing parts of the images.  I'm sure you can tell which parts!!LOL  The jacket and skirt are done with sharpies and fabric markers.  The packages said that if they are ironed, they can be washed with no problem.  So just iron them a couple of times and let me know how it works.

The pic of Lucius came off of http://www.deviantart.com, but I can't remember for the life of me who the artist was.  Sorry.  The stickers are actually bookplates.
