Recently, I tried my hand at stipple painting on a coffee table (see post here : http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=88199.0;topicseen) and had so much fun that I decided to try again with a series of paintings.

I have so far done two pictures (I will post the rest as they are completed) based on Futurama -- which is probably the best cartoon of all time. The first in my series is Dr. Zoidberg, whiom I love beyond words.

To see more pictures and the rest of the series, as I am working on them - go here : http://www.flickr.com/photos/giddygirlie/sets/326735/

I just painted these on a whim, but I am planning to do a series of 6 (only because I have 6 of these particle board squares ready to paint on). Next up is Nibbler who is in-process (www.flickr.com/photos/giddygirlie) and then will be Leela, Fry, Hypnotoad, and one of the sewer mutants (I haven't decided which).

Thanks for your kind words!

do you have pictures of that costume? that would be AWESOME.

Also, I should have clarified, that this picture is on a 12"x12" piece of particle board that we had (I don't know where it came from) and isn't a table like my last piece. If you're interested in a smaller piece (the table would probably be a bear to ship), I'm totally open to doing a commission piece. These 12x12 pictures take me about 3 hours to complete, so I'd totally be open to a trade or something for one.
