*updated*
i just finished this one too but didnt want to start a new thread-

this is my latest coptic bound journal, it has red trees on the kraft paper cover- i handcarved the trees a few weeks ago. it has 80 pages of 80 lb. drawing paper and is bound with rust colored thread.

i have a big fasination with trees...is that weird? Cheesy haha, i feel like such a nerd asking that! i dont know, it seems as if most of us are on the same page when it comes to liking things...i know a lot of crafty people say nature is a huge inspiration to them.

that is so cute. i love the trees.

what do you use to make books thick enough? i tried making a book using davey board and i couldn't cut through it with a utility knife so i gave up on it. thanks.

simplyfussfree- i had bee using davey's board for a while until i ran out, then i ordered the hollander's  generic brand. i think it might be a little bit easier to cut, although it still taks about 3 or 4 passes with a sharp blade to get through it.
