My mom used to make a hamburger soup. She would brown gr beef then drain it and put it in an oven proof bowl or casserole then add cubed potatoes and a couple of cans of peas then cover with water and spice it with what kind you like....salt, pepper, oregano, garlic....you know what ever you like then cook it til the potatoes were done.
