Here are some peasant tops I've made......
(This is one of my very favorite patterns)

Oh, and don't you just love the smile on my happy little helper?  heh.

The patchwork one...

And the only shot I had of me wearing it is this one of my little family and I deep in a slot canyon called Spooky Gulch (great name, right?).  If you're ever in Southern Utah and looking for a very cool hike, go to the Grand Staircase National Monument and hike through Spooky Gulch and Peek-a-boo Canyon.  So amazing.

Here is a black one.  I don't know if you can see, but there is black lace around the sleeves and hem...

And probably my favorite one, tie-dyed......
(I made it out of a cream colored fabric, then tie-dyed it)

And me wearing it....(pardon the tacky white lawn chair and dumb dishes on the house---we just moved in and haven't gotten rid of them yet....also sorry for the grumpy face....my husband snapped it before I smiled and I was late for a party, so I had to run...)

They all look awesome. I am also a lover of the peasant top.... what pattern did you use and is it a quick sew? I ask because I have 3 boys of my own.  Grin

The pattern is Simplicity 8741.  And I think it's a pretty quick sew.  I can usually make one in a day.  And, of course, that is a day filled with running after 3 boys.   Grin

It was just your average Rit Dye.  Some friends and I got together and had a little tie-dying party.  We tie-dyed shirts, pants, onesies, socks, skirts, etc.

We made a mess and it was great fun!
