I got a sewing machine for Christmas, and I decided to break it in by making an apron for my friend who loves to bake. The pockets came out a bit sloppy, but otherwise I thought it worked out well.

Here are some pics:

Right now I'm working on something similar for myself with a different fabric, but my sewing machine has fallen ill so progress has been put on hold....

I ended up liking it, despite the pockets. What do ya'll think?

Very Cute, and the pockets don't look sloppy at all.

I love the colour combination.

That came out great! Strawberries are perfect for a summery apron. I'm coveting the strawberry print apron my mom made in the 50's. Smiley

Perfect fabric for that style of apron.  Love the strawberries.

That is very cute and the yellow ruffle sets it off so well. Strawberries are so happy!
