I posted this in the bag contest so I hope it's ok that I post it here for feedback as well.
This is the first bag I have made for myself and I love love love it!!!!

It is made with vintage paisley fabric and a jersey shirt that didn't look good on me but felt so soft.



What do you think?

yeah, the edges are all zizag stitched at the tightest setting my machine will do.  I went over the lip twice too because I wanted it to loook as solid as possible.

when you hold it by the handle, does it lift the flap open at all?
I love paisley, i got a huge amount of purple and yellow paisely fabric for like $3!Hooray

No, but the top middle does bend a little.  I think that if/when I put a magnetic snap in it will no longer do that.
