Huh?  Are you kidding?  That is totally cheap shipping.  I bought THREE pairs of handles and the total order cost less than $7 including the shipping, and I didn't have to drive all over town looking for something other than the ugly ones they sell at the craft megamart in the wrong size.

1.49 a handle
3 bucks for first item
.75 cents for every other item Undecided and that's just for the 5 in handles

unless you buy a lot of them the shipping still gets you in the end, especially when you can probally call stores up and ask if they have them and visit them while on another errand nearby, but i do like the glittery plastic Smiley

They were $1.49 per pair. not individually.  The least expensive ones I could find in my local shops were at least $7...and they were ugly or kind of plain.  I saw glittery ones, but they wanted $9.99.  So in my book, this was a steal, especially since I got two pairs.

Hey, I was just trying to help others by posting this link.

At Walmart you can buy gold rings for .33 - $1. I always buy the .50 ones and decorate them myself. Such as wrapping jute around them.

Wow, those are great deals, thank you. You guys saying this is expensive for shipping are nuts. Factor in the NO TAX you pay for ebay purchases, this is by far the cheapest I have seen. Have you all visited mjtrim.com (or mjtrimming.com?) which is where a lot of handles are sourced? They are about $7 PER HANDLE (not pair) for the same exact thing...

Suzie, thanks for getting my back on this one!  And it's not just the tax you save if you can get good deals online, it's gasoline too.  With the prices heading towards $3.50/gallon this summer, I'm looking for ways to cut back on errands wherever I can.  I thank God for eBay -- so many great deals on supplies.

Ebay, how do I love thee, let me count the ways!!!!  Great find, I can't tell you how much time was wasted driving around town only to find a very small assortment of nothing with any originality...not to mention the gasoline wasted.  So as for the pesky shipping charges, well I think we will all agree it's a necessary evil.  You have to take into account you are paying for the convenience of sitting on your butt in the comfort of your home while the item your ordered comes directly to your porch step delivered by cute men in tiny brown shorts.  God Bless UPS!

Well, sorry if I burst the bubble.  I didn't mean to make anyone defensive.  My math counted $1.99 for handles, $4 to ship.  That sounded like $6 a pair.  For me, that's expensive.  I'd rather saw the handles off an old thriftstore bag or see what I can do with my 40% michaels coupon.  I've seen other sellers do lots of handles that break down to $2 a pair before shipping which tends to also be around $4-6, so that to me seemed like a better deal.  But if you got three pairs for $7, that's great!  handle on!
