Yuck, this weather!!

I'm assuming the Arts Expo isn't going on today, with the chilly rain? I hope things look better tomorrow!

If the Expo goes on tomorrow, have extra fun for me, looks like I'll be here in Pennsylvania.  Undecided

hey--i dragged my hubby to the arts expo on sat (after the rain)....all it cost me was ice cream  Wink it was a pretty good show, not as many purses as i was hoping. this guy had a really cool garden fountain thing made out of cooper made to look like a tall ship. very nice, but $1500! one woman did have nice purses made out of stainless steel and rubber....

Dee - those copper garden fountains were amazing!!

It was a little sloshy on Sunday, I shouldn't have worn a long skirt, but eh. I enjoyed seeing so many crafts, and had to pick up some fried oreos before we left. Wink Heh. Oh, how I love fair food.

hmmm {thinks hard} i think they do... i don't knit so i didn't pay much attention to the yarn. there is a nice yarn/fabric/embroidery store in cuyahoga falls on state road: stitch, piece & purl. they had a lot but i'm not the best yarn-judge

i was too lazy to go through all 5 pages of this but piece and purl is pretty expensive. if you're looking for quality then i would definately go there.
im into sewing, myself but my friend that lives on 13th street took me there and we browsed for .. ohhh.... say about an hour... Smiley

I was just going to ask how expensive they were.  But then again, I used to think my LYS is expensive and as it turns out they were more reasonable than many stores online.  Another question though... does stitch, piece and purl have roving?  I thought someone told me they had spinning stuff but I've never actually been there.

i think SP&P does have spinning stuff, i get their newsletter and they have some group/club for it. again i don't knit but as far as fabric their stuff is comparable with non-joanns shops...about $7-$8/yd which i gather is what you'll pay in the non-joann world  Wink

So what is this fabric peddler?  I've been thinking about learning to quilt but it's not something I've really actively pursued quite yet.
