I just wanted to stop in... I live in Columbus now.  But used to live in Akron, Portage Lakes & then in Canton @ London Square

There's a really wonderful store close in Cuyahoga Falls on State Rd called Stitch, Peice n Purl and it's got a really great selection of yarn!
Also in Walhaven there's Pat Catan's, I normally go there because it's so cheap!


PS- I've gotten a little out of touch since I've moved over here to PA for college... Anyone know when the Art's Expo is this year??

hi cats, i'm always in pat catan's  i just wish they sold fabric.

anyone up for a crafty get-together? maybe a trip out to fabric peddler or stich, piece & purl? weekday evenings are best for me....i'll also poke around the ohio get-together thread and see if anyone else wants to join us out here in non-cleveland-land

I live right across from hardety park where they have the arts expo! fun times,,,we should plan something then. and id love to hit up stitch piece and purl, and as soon as i am done typing this i am going to pat catans!

hi mjadams! i was just at joann's on my lunch hour and pc's yesterday 
the art expo would be great, i've never been to akron's.... i did go to the one at boston mills last year and i think the cheapest thing there was $500

have you ever noticed that pat catans has like 15 handicap parking spaces?

There's a Pat Catan's in Medina that I think is waaayyyy better than the one in Fairlawn.

I'd love to do a get-together! I've never been to the Arts Expo before, mainly I just venture into Akron now when I'm going to the University. And like I said, I live across the street from the Fabric Peddler so if y'all came out to Wadsworth I could figure out stuff for us to do.

yeah, mostly b/c i always nearly get run over as people dive into them....diagonally 

let's definitely plan on the akron arts expo (july 22-23). I'd also really like to head out to the fabric peddler again too, do you know their hours megan+mary?
