i have a thing for mustardy-goldenrod-yellow, and i found this super soft, perfect-colored pillow case at the thirft store.  making a solid-colored skirt isn't really my thing, though, so i also drew a little giraffe on a piece of scrap fabric i had and stitched it to the pillowcase with jean thread.  the skirt construction was as simple as it gets: cut off the closed part of the pillowcase to desired length, sew in a strip of elastic, ta-da!

My website is coming together nicely! Please send me feedback, as I don't know how well it works on systems other than mine.

Also, I have a blog at  http://neglectedblog.blogspot.com/

I agree with Auden, in the most non-stalkerish way possible. Did you just doodle that giraffe or did you use a pattern? It is superbly cute!

oooohhh, did i sound like a stalker?  how embarassing....i was truly overcome with emotion over such a cheap, easy, doable project that looked so good!
i am very new to the site, altho not to crafting, but had never before heard of such glorious things as pillowcase skirts and t-shirt surgery.
anyway, i assure you i am not insane, at least not dangerously, and, uh, just ignore that campsite on your front lawn.............

i doodled some animals in my journal before picking the cutest one to draw onto a piece of fabric.  i've been getting inspiration for animal doodles to use on clothes and purses from places like http://www.mypapercrane.com and http://www.boygirlparty.com.

posts about how i am awesome are less weird than posts about my tits (although, it has now been noted that boys' undershirts are indeed quite see-through), but then, who am i to turn down comments about my hot boobs, so everyone's in the clear.

If people could put rainbows in zoos they'd do it.
