I'm just trying to keep busy.  Not like there's not plenty to do with a 3 yr old and a 5 yr old, but I have to focus on something productive in addition to them as well.

I am glad I can be home with them, but MOM is not the only role I was cut out to do.  I'm sure not treated like a wife, but that's another issue  Cry

Look at me, I'm on TV, it makes up for the shortcomings of being poor. Now I'm in a million pieces picked up for deliberation by the people listening at home, by the people watching on the telly...

yarncookie, that's cute Smiley  I love how you replicated the checks with the flower material, and the flower with the checked material!

I *finally* caved and made a little something with some of the fabric I've claimed.

A quick zippered bag:

I haven't made a zippered bag before, the zipper scared me! But it was insanely easy so I shall be making more and more and more!

I know what you mean.  Zippers intimidated me for a long time.  then I saw the tut here on zippered bags and I love to make them now!

oh so pretty..love that fabric. Yay for pretty zippered bags!

I've only made 2 little zippered pouch thingies but they weren't nearly as horrible to make as I had thought they would be...although I'm sure the process would have been much simpler if I'd had a zipper foot for my machine.  Roll Eyes
