for the button i just sewed the fabric over a ugly teal one. i wish i could properly cover buttons.

Great job with that button Qwerty! Do you know where I could find instructions for covering buttons with fabric?
By the way, nice use of my fabric!! See, I really didn't know what to do with it, apart from patting it every now and then  Wink

I just had to join in on the fun of making a pin cushion.  Here's the little one I made with fabric from qazicat.

Okay, I'm finally getting around to using some of the FAB fabrics I've recieved Smiley  The cute bug fabric I received is in a quilt now, and will probably be used in something small and fun with the remainder...

I hope these images work...if they don't, they're in my blog, link at the bottom of my post.

Since some of you are veteran quilters, you may have already guessed - this is my first quilt.  I'm so proud, it actually looks like the picture! (patternwise, but my eye-searing colors are my idea alone...I hate matchy matchy stuff)  I'm beginning the machine quilting soon, but it's all basted together and awaiting quilting, binding, and loving use Smiley

Aren't the buggies ccccuuuuuttteee?   Wink
