Wow this thread sure has blossomed since I last checked in! Everything is incredible! Especially the turtle tote bag  Wink

I just keep looking at my fabric it's met the rest of the stash and has made itself comfortable, but hopefully not for long!

Joey took his turtle tote bag to school (playschool for 3 yr olds) today and the teachers went nuts over it.  He was going to use it as his show-and-tell.

I'm a bad momma.  I didn't know the 2/3 yr old class *did* show and tell, and he's been in school since Nov.  They get together with the 4/5 yr old group for "sharing".  My 5 yr old agonizes over what to bring each time, but the 3 yr old never said anything.  Last week, the 5 yr old asked why Joey only showed diapers for sharing time!  I guess he went to his tote bag and to get something out, just like all the other kids did, but the only things I ever put in his tote were extra diapers and then eventually underwear when he was potty trained!

At least today he can show off his bag.  I told  him NOT to show off his extra undies that are inside ;-)

That is so adorable! Thank you for the heads up too! My 3 y.o. starts preschool this coming August, I'll make sure to check and see whether they do that.

Well, not unless the undies has a super cool design on it Wink  I remember working with a class of 5 year olds (ages ago) and a couple of boys (yeah...none of the girls did this) couldn't wait to show off their cool undies to each other every morning.  It was adorable, but we had to tell them to quit doing that Cheesy

thanks! i like the color combo too, i was going to send it to my partner in a swap, but those really aren't her colors. i'll just have to whip up another one for her! for the button i just sewed the fabric over a ugly teal one. i wish i could properly cover buttons.
