Cute! He's adorable! I bet even more so in person! And I love his ratty tail! and the details are so cute! I think the safety goggles are the best part. They just make the "lab" part of lab rat. Smiley
Is his girlfriend going to be a his Lab assistant?

Yes, his girlfriend will be his assistant.  Right now I am trying to decide which female scientist I will pattern her after.  love2teach

Madame Curie comes to mind. But then again, I don't know of too many woman scientists, and so I don't have much of a pool to choose from!

I was thinking of Madame Curie also.  I made a period costume and dressed like Madame Curie for Halloween and I am thinking about manipulating the layout pictures from the pattern to make a costume for Albert's girlfriend.  But then there is also Dian Fossey and Jane Goodall.  I can see it now, I'm just going to have to make Poppet Lab Rats for all the scientists we study in class.....I think you have created a monster craftewoman.

I finally managed to get hubby to bring my package home. Waiting all day yesterday was agonizing! We decided to make little sisters for our current poppets. I requested a ferret if possible with mostly solid hair but a few fun colors mixed in very tastefully. I don't have the cute note violette28 sent with her as I'm at work but I'll post her details when I get home. Smiley
violette28 delivered exactly what I asked for!
Meet Skye:

Cute ferrety face:

Nakey shot:

Sky Didn't come empty handed though she brought some lovely things with her including this handy poppet shopping bag:

Which had in it some poppet sized bubbles and a pretty purple infinity dress which Gloria decided to was for her:

There was also this beautiful dresser:

I love the way this looks! It's so "scrapbooky!" And it had this pretty dress in it:

I nearly bought some batik just for poppet clothing but avoided it because of the price. violette28 must have read my mind.
She also sent me some grey alova and cute red clothing fabric:

I will post pics of the girls in thier new clothes in the clothing only board to save space here!
Thanks Violette! I love Skye she is perfect!
