I am new to craftster and loving it! i finally dont feel like the only one anymore...

I have been featuring a few things at a shop in ST. Paul, but they dont seem to be selling. I dont know if it is because of the prices, or the location of the shop... i have also been trying the website thing... And working on an etsy store.

Let me know what you would consider paying for my stuff if it was on etsy.com, in a shop, or at a show.

also, any kind of feedback would be great <3

Peacock feathers - small bag, all leather, lined, zipper pocket, magnet closure.

Sunset Amoeba - Large, white leather with cheetah print lining, zipper pocket, magnet snap closure.

Grama Bowler - medium tote, lined, zipper, magnet closure.

Bronze Gaia - smaller, lined, magnet closure, zipper.

and any one else working with leather?

beautiful work! I love the choices you made in the colours and shapes!  I am no good at trying to price items at all but I do know that comparable purses on the internet the prices range from 80 to 200 dollars. I am sure this is no help at all to you. But I do look at the advertisers here on crafter by clicking on the ads that are at the side and bottom of the boards and that's where I see price ranges. I just wish I was as good at asking the prices these companies do!!
But I really like your work. I do leather work too but it's always recycled leather I just can't afford new.

$20.00 is FAR too low for any of those.  They're great!  By the time you add in your time, effort, talent, and supplies, I would say you need to charge at least $50.00.  Honestly, I know that handmade leather purses of similar quality sell for much more, but maybe if you start out on the lower end, it will help you start to get some business.  Good luck!

Too beautiful and too well made.  Like I said before you just need to find your audience.  Take nothing less than $50.

Maybe this proves a point - are your products in a suitable shop, in a suitable area with a suitable audience that would pay a fair price for your items? I love them all, but I know that I most likely wouldn't spend that much money on any bag, period, just due to my income etc  Smiley

yeah, that's what i think, too.

if i could, i would spend more money on it. but since i feel like i could make it (even though i KNOW i can't), and i don't have a lot of money myself, i'd pay 20. so it depends on your buyers.
