I had some spare yarn so I decided to make a little hat with a ruffly brim. I used a 2-ply leftover yarn from an afghan project mixed with  some eyelash. I had no pattern so I thought I would just wing it...I remember drinking a LITTLE wine, but holy mackerel, who's head did I measure?

Here is a pic showing how small the "hat" was--remember that it was suppose to fit down over my head and ruffle around my face!

 Photos removed to make room!

OOPS!

So, after seeing all of the cute yarn purses in the purse room, I had the brilliant idea to turn it into a purse!
I crocheted a handle, lined the thing, and then made a drawstring to close it! TA-DA

...the inside

and finally--hubby says it still looks like an upside down hat!!!!!

Oh well--goes to show that even experienced people make big boo-boos! So craft on and enjoy!!

ha ha--glad you like it--it makes a much better purse than a hat--I can't tell you how many people have asked for me to make them one--and it was SOOOO simple, but I just used the wrong size needles or something or counted the cast ons wrong! I love your stuff--you knit and crochet awesome--do you sell your yarn or just use it for yourself? I love it! Especially the brown and green ones!
